Fun Day 2011
School Days: A Fish Tale
School Variety Show
I always think its cool when kids are brave enough to get up on stage and perform in front of their peers. This year Melissa and her friends did a dance to "Firework" from Katy Perry. They did a good job. The whole show was impressive and a really nice variety from dancing to piano to jokes to singing. I'll have to give credit to Melanie since she did it a few years ago too when she was in elementary school. She played the piano and did a great job. I know it's scary to do so I'm always impressed when kids do it - it builds courage!! Glad schools are still doing it and glad kids are still participating!! Great job Melissa!
Piano Recital 2011
Melanie and Melissa are getting really good now. They have had a wonderful year and worked very hard. They both earned a Superior rating at Federation once again. The piano recital was just after we got back from Texas and Melanie didn't feel comfortable playing since she hadn't practiced much while on vacation, so we excused her, but Melissa was glad to and did a great job! Keep it up girls!

Texas for Grandma Diane's Graduation
Very proud of my mom graduating with her Masters from the University of Texas! It was also great to have a good excuse for a fun family get together. Mom's always a great hostess - thanks again for a wonderful trip!!It was so great that my Grandpa Hulet (my Mom's Dad) and my Mom's two sisters were able to come too. I haven't seen them in way too many years and I know my Mom was thrilled at their support of her. It's such a blessing to have such great family!
The only picture we took at Schlitterbaun - we had a really good time - but camera's and water don't go well together.Jumping off the cliffs at Georgetown Lake.Rebekah fell asleep riding on Eric's shoulders on the way back to the car - kids can sleep anywhere! We got the chance to go to San Antonio and go to the Alamo . . .
Great Memories!

And walk/ride the River Walk . . . And go to Sea World.
Lots of fun places with lots of fun people. The kids had a great time getting to know and play with their cousins. They wore themselves (and us) out!
