Temple Escort

So thrilled last night to escort my beloved Lee Pori through the temple to receive her endowments before serving a mission. I've watched this sweet girl grow up since first serving as her primary teacher when she was 11. I had the privilege of being a Young Women leader to her in many different capacities as she went through the Young Women program. She is an amazing girl who is the only member of the church in her immediate family. She's been such a great example of faithfulness , patience and kindness as she's grown up. She's blossomed into a beautiful woman who is going to make an amazing missionary in Denver Colorado! I'm so excited for her and so grateful to have been a part of her life!

It was also a thrill to be in the temple with another beloved YW, Ali Richards, who I've also had the privilege to to teach since Primary and who was in the temple for the 2nd time as she's preparing to leave on a mission this weekend to serve in the mission where I lived when I was a little girl! (West Valley City-in Utah)

Such a beautiful experience!!

Sunday Afternoon at Nana's

We love spending Sunday afternoon's with Nana. For the Winter she's at Maple Down's -easier travel. Melissa's relaxing on the couch, the boys are playing with cars, Rebekah's showcasing Nana's jewelry and the rest are playing cards (Melanie's asking me what she should bid).

For James

Just a reminder of how cool you are. On those days when you forget (or I do). These are what the kids in James 3rd grade class said about him. Mrs. Dunham, his teacher wrote it up for Valentines day for each of the kids-cool idea.

100 Days of Kindergarten

Today was David's 100th day of school. I don't know if you can see him with the camouflage shirt and glasses, but he looks awfully cute!

Another Lost Tooth

David lost his first tooth on Christmas morning opening a jar of Play-doh. This one he just came up to me and showed me how loose it was and asked me to pull it. All the other kids were always too scared it would hurt and wouldn't let me touch them. He just let me pull it!
